Disturbed but not

Still meditating on Genesis. At first I was totally disturbed by all the lies and chicanery in and around the accounts -- stealing blessings and birthrights, pretending that wives are sisters, etc. Needless to say, there're some really heavy hitters in the mix of all this outright deceit...Abraham, Isaac, and so on and so on. God is using 'these' folks.

Then I get to thinking...........deceit, lies, chicanery......awfully familiar.... as God calls me to scan my own unabridged autobiography. Despite......God does His thing. Makes His glory known. Presses His agenda. Not only does He have potential to use us weak and failing humans, He does! I guess what I'm saying is that it was pretty uplifting to note some of the faithful accounts of the "Amazing Grace." Nice.
