It's a Dog Eat Dog World

Well, technically, in my reading today there was nothing about dogs eating dogs. That's just plain silly talk. There was, however, a mom and friend eating her own son. There was part about dogs eating a woman on the road after she was thrown down to the street. What's the point? Well, shishkebobly speaking, I remember another part where a dude gets struck with an arrow in the back and it hits him in the heart, slumping him over in his chariot. Perhaps God's letting us in on the state of the kingdom on earth or something?
